Fund a Need

     
 

This year we will be focusing on adding some exciting programs to After School Enrichment! Holy Spirit School strives to offer a wide variety of After School Enrichment classes for our prekindergarten, elementary, and middle school age children where our students develop academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. 

This Year's Fund-a-Need Includes:
Musical Instruments 
Your child can learn to play an instrument at school! Research has increasingly emphasized the benefits of an Arts education, which is why the Arts are an essential part of our curriculum. Our students will have the opportunity to learn to play woodwind instruments (e.g. flute, clarinet, saxophone), brass instruments (e.g. trumpet, trombone), or percussion instruments (e.g. snare drum, tambourine) and perform at school community events.  This need includes purchasing instruments, cases, and stands. Estimated Cost: $25,000
 

Lights, Sound, ACTION! 
Holy Spirit School is committed to providing hands-on arts experience in dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. Students develop key life skills and evolve into confident, articulate, team-conscious contributors to society. This need includes purchasing spotlights, boom microphones, headset microphones and the replacement of a new stage drape. Estimated Cost:  $5,000

Coding Classes (PreK - 8th grade) 
Coding is essential to help students thrive in a future driven by technology. Coding develops problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Students in grades PreK - 5 will learn introductory concepts and create their own games, art, and digital stories. Middle School students will learn to build working apps, games, and create websites. Our need includes: software and materials needed to teach these Computer Science fundamental skills.
Estimated Cost:  $5,000
